Privacy policy
01What we collect
Account data (email, name, avatar from Google or magic link), the listings you submit, upvotes and comments, purchase records, and anonymised usage events (page views, link clicks). We hash IP + user agent for de-duplication and do not store raw IP addresses.
02What we use it for
Running the service, applying upgrades, sending transactional email (magic links, listing status, badge checks, receipts), fighting fraud, and aggregate analytics. Marketing email only with your opt-in, with one-click unsubscribe.
03Processors
Supabase (database, auth, storage), Vercel (hosting), Resend (email), Dodo Payments (payments — we never see card numbers), OpenRouter (AI drafting of listings from your public website), Vercel Web Analytics and Google Analytics (aggregate traffic analytics).
04AI
When you use 'Fill with AI' we send your public website's text to a language model to draft the listing. Prompts and outputs are logged for quality and cost tracking and are not used to train models.
05Cookies
A session cookie for sign-in, a preference cookie for theme, a first-party affiliate cookie (30 days) when you arrive via a referral link, and Google Analytics cookies (_ga, up to 13 months) that measure aggregate traffic. We don't use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies. You can block analytics cookies in your browser or with Google's opt-out add-on.
06Your rights
Access, correct, export or delete your data by emailing hello@discoverlaunches.com from your account address. Deleting your account removes your profile, comments and votes; live listings you own are removed unless you transfer them.
07Retention
Raw usage events are pruned after 90 days; aggregates are kept. Purchase records are kept as required by tax law.
