LangScribe vs Pier
From podcast to vocabulary list: subscribe to a public podcast RSS feed in LangScribe, transcribe and translate an episode, then follow along with bilingual subtitles line by line. Pier turns a Nextcloud, NAS, SFTP or NFS folder into a normal Windows drive letter, with a block cache, resumable transfers and an offline mode, so every Windows program can open the files. Both are listed in Productivity.

What is LangScribe?
LangScribe is a player for learning languages from video and audio. Subscribe to a public podcast RSS feed, transcribe and translate an episode, then follow along with bilingual subtitles line by line. The same study flow works for YouTube videos, lectures, and movies: A–B repeat, click-to-look-up, and vocabulary cards that keep the source sentence and clip.

Pier turns a remote folder into a normal Windows drive letter. It speaks WebDAV (Nextcloud, ownCloud, Synology, QNAP, Apache, IIS), SFTP (any SSH server, password or OpenSSH keys) and NFSv3, and uses the open-source Dokany driver, installed for you by the setup program, so Explorer, Office, backup tools and scripts work on the drive as on a local disk.
